Maison Makeeva is an independent contemporary fashion house founded in Paris in 2023 by Cameroonian designer Anye Makeeva. Bringing together ready-to-wear, streetwear and a personal relationship with music and visual culture, the house explores how clothing can express where we come from and who we are becoming.

Room for individualinterpretation.
The wardrobe gives these ideas a physical presence. Relaxed proportions, denim, sportswear and statement pieces sit alongside graphic details and cultural references. Unisex designs leave room for individual interpretation, inviting each wearer to bring their own attitude and experience to the clothes.

Cameroonian heritage is a continuing source of inspiration. References such as Toghu-inspired motifs enter a contemporary wardrobe, carrying a connection to their origins while finding new contexts. This relationship between memory and reinvention gives the house space to develop a language of its own.

Maison Makeeva is being built collection by collection. As a young independent house, it currently develops one principal collection each year, allowing time for ideas to take shape through research, design and development. Each chapter contributes to a growing body of work and a clearer expression of the house’s identity.
