Anye Makeeva

Creative Director & Founder

Born in the vibrant city of Buea, Cameroon, ANYE MAKEEVA carries with him a rich cultural heritage rooted in color, rhythm, and storytelling. His journey in fashion began early, inspired by the expressive style and artistry surrounding him. Seeking to expand his creative horizons, he moved to Paris—the global capital of fashion—to pursue formal studies, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Technology.

After completing his studies, he spent several years working within the fashion industry, building experience in styling, fashion campaigns, and creative direction across both music and fashion spaces. His work reflects a deep understanding of visual culture and the powerful connection between identity and style.

Drawing from his life journey, he blends influences from diverse cultures, silhouettes, and aesthetics. His creative vision is shaped by a unique fusion of African vibrancy, Parisian refinement, and the global perspectives he has gathered along the way. Through Maison Makeeva, he channels this multicultural knowledge into contemporary design, offering a fresh narrative that celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange.
